Vacancy for a firefighter at Cornwall Airport

Cornwall Airport Newquay Rescue and Firefighting Service is currently seeking a qualified, enthusiastic and experienced firefighter to join the team on a full time basis.

The vacancy is open to candidates who hold a current and valid CAA qualification or certificate from an approved in-house maintenance of competence scheme.

Applicants must be able to meet current company medical and fitness standards and hold a valid Class C driving licence as well as a recognised qualification in first aid.

The successful applicant will be able to work well within a team, be capable of working under pressure and have the ability to use their own initiative.

This role is based on a full-time 40hrs pw contract that attracts a salary of around £27 - 28k per annum.
